THE Junior Prom was held May 11, 1954 at the Stamford School aud- itorium. A deep sea theme was car- ried out with the Linus Houck orches- tra . Highlight of the evening was the crowning of Queen Audrey Van Du- sen and King Gilbert Longin. The attendants were Barbara Thiele, Lydia Wilsey, Peggy Tompkins, Gordie Churchill, Bob Reynard, and Roddy Dibble. Crown bear- ers were Jayne Simonson and Alex Sternberg. 19

Senior Play Seated: Luigi. Jessica. Mildred. Mr». Schmaltz. Mrs. Frink, Jake. Standing: Martha. Miss Akers. Joe, Dr. Brown. Mr. Black. Mr. Morlock, Mrs. Morlock, Mary. Lucifer, Mr. Plew. REST Assured, a three act comedy, was presented November 12, 1954 by the Senior Class, in the school au- ditorium. Much success was due to the expert guidance of Mr. Adair. The cast was entertained with a spaghetti supper at the home of Audrey Van Dusen before the curtain. There were the usual butterflies and beforehand nervousness, with a few slip-ups, but many people have been known to say that Rest Assured was one of the best plays in the history of Stamford Central. Such phrases as Sir, I love your daughter I and I'ma cornea to talka for Joe will long be remembered by the members of the Senior Class.
