Stambaugh drew a bye, then defeated Iron River 56 to 48 in the semi-finals. In the finals, losing to Crystal Falls twice previously, the Hilltoppers gave the Trojans a terrific bat- tle, but lost by two points. The first team players were: John Erickson, Donald Halverson, Edward Erickson Ronald Sherwood and John Meyers.
