HOME ECONOMICS enables girls to gain valu- able experience for the future. It develops their ability to organize time and learn to recognize de- sirable standards in clothing and foods. The clothing students were busy with numerous projects this year. They presented a fashion show, proof of the effort which they had exerted. In the foods classes, Miss Davies started the year with the study of nutrition. Later, the girls became experienced in table settings and meal planning as well as in cooking. The skills and know- ledge that they acquired in these classes will be useful in the future. mmf' I think I did something wrong! Ah, magniiique! Fashion conscious girls study fabric, design, and tailoring.

E. classes strive to strengthen the youth of America. These calesthenics build endurance and agility. Fitness encouraged HEALTH AND GYM, being graduation require- ments, are taken by students entering Stadium as sophomores. When properly taken advantage of, these two subjects can be very helpful to students. If students have not yet learned to swim when they enter Stadium, they are given the opportunity to do so. Participation in extracurricular sports dur- ing the junior and senior years at Stadium is great- ly encouraged, not only by the faculty, but also by the counselors, Health classes are also advantage- ous, for they relate information on how to keep the body in good condition. At Stadium, a strong and healthy body as well as a strong mind is considered to be of great importance. Stadium students should appreciate this concern for their future life. MR.
