KANARR Industrial Arts Industrial Arts Department Head MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT By of- fering a variety of mathematics ranging from general math to advanced courses in algebra and geometry the Stadium mathematics de- partment gained the interest and support of students striving for such a background Such courses gave students an opportunity to learn principles of mathematics for future apphca tion or study In addition high achievement courses were offered capable students planning to pursue studies based upon mathematics Emphasiz ing 1nd1v1dual analysis of problems these accelerated courses proved challenging to both teacher and pupil alike MAX DUBOIS Mathematics Golf Coach 'Qs DON H HUNT INDUSTRIAL ARTS DEPARTMENT Students in metal and wood shops studied under the direction of Mr. George Hoivik, new to the Stadium faculty this year. Students learned the fundamentals of using hand and power machinery. Their products included tools, fireplace sets, row boats and tables. Mr. Worthy Kanarr instructed classes in mechani- cal, architectural, machine, and boat drawing. Stu- dents learned how to understand and draw blueprints of various kinds.
