Important to sopho- mores were tests to ascertain the presence of diabetes. Following last year's school renova- tion, ill students found that the nurse's office provided quiet and pleasant surroundings. Following the resignation of Mrs. Helen Bumgardner in October, Mrs. Ethel Oquist was appointed head librarian. With new and modernized rooms she was able with the aid of her assistants to make the library a pleas- ant place for students and faculty.
