7X If I, g.. Duck Mlres A, B. President Student Council, Stadiunrs student govern- ment, was 0110 of the few organizations of its kind in the state of NVashington. This group, composed of student representatives from many service, honor, and hobby clubs, plus those from the three classes, the W'orld, yell team, athletics, the Student Body officers, and the adviser Nlr. Streeter, had charge of the schoolis activities. A club had to be organized under the same consti- tution for two years and have a membership of at least twenty-tive in order to have a repre- sentative in Student Council. Presiding over Stadiuinis student body and council was President Dick Mires, Vice President Patsy Barnes, Secretary Shirley Morris, and the Treasurer Shun Ling who completed the list of officers. Shirley Morris Shun Chih ling Secretary Treasurer J Student Council Many projects were listed on the yearis agenda. Gold and blue pep hats and book covers were sold, as in former years, during the first weeks of school in the fall. Two family nights during the football and basketball seasons gave Stadium families the opportunity of becoming better acquainted with the Castleis sports pro- gram. Vice President of the student body, Patsy Barnes, acted as presiding ofticer of Boll Boom Congress. Student Council organized this group two years ago in order that more students would have the chalice to take part in student govern- ment. Every roll room sent a representative to the monthly meetings where school problems were discussed. The representative reported the results of the discussion to his rolls. x sk- ' P ' W .
