Recently the public concerts have been accentu- ated by the addition of an A Capella Choir and a singing group called the Madrigals. It is possible, in addition to competition in classes, for sophomores to participate in after school sports in their own grade rank or for boys to join an intramural team. Potential biologists, zoologists, chemists, physi- cists and medical personnel find the offerings of Stadium's science department full and broad. Math and industrial arts students, too, find their departments' courses geared towards de-

In addition to this the committee plans after school teas once a week to give the teachers a chance to visit with one another. We musnit forget the long hours the faculty puts in to educate the students. One of the larg- est departments is that of business education. Stadium provides excellent courses in this Held for the student not planning to go to college and for those students who intend to find a job when they graduate. English, social studies and a foreign language are perhaps the most necessary courses for a student's daily living. College entrance and job placements are dependent on the ability of stu- dents to apply English and foreign languages- technically and in a practical way-to their roles

Another department is home economics, in which girls are required to complete two credits in order to graduate. A girl may take home rela- tions, or foods and family life, each giving her a good background for the management of a household. Stadium offers a student three years Social Committee of art, which is a part of this large and expand- ing department. The guidance teachers have their hands full directing the students through the maze of courses and educational careers in general. They help them with personal problems, program schedules, and the choosing of suitable careers through the administration of vocational interest tests.
