St. Xaviers had two winners in the Voice of Democracy Con- test. Grant Collins, 1st in Junction City and Bettina Klichaelis, 2nd. Grant went on to take 2nd in Districts. The contest was sponsored by Women's Auxiliary V.F.W. 48 Emporia Test participants gather outside the school.
