Recognition Karen Stapleton placed first, Patricia Shad, third; and Douglas Molohon, second in the essay contest conducted for National Children's Dental Health Week, sponsored by the Ft. Riley Dental Service and the Geary County Dental Society. In recognition, the Officers Wives Club of Fort Riley awarded $35. 00 to the school. The title of the essay was The Cost of Losing a Tooth. Xavierians Win James Jones, senior, was selected to represent the Tri- Valley District in the state wide competition for this year's NSPE-ARMCO scholarship. The Tri-Valley Chap- ter of the Kansas Engineering Society chose James Jones from a 70 high school district. Cathy Grant is Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow from St. Xavier's. Cathy won the title by scoring highest in the Betty Crocker Scholarship test. CONGRATULATIONS 18
