I think it is just wonderful to watch my skills increase from day to day in typing. Now that I am more advanced, I am learning the skills of secretarial work. I'm so weary tonite after all those push-ups we did today in gym. What a hectic time we have sometime when all of us congregate in the between class periods. We finished a very worth-while two days retreat tonite. Father Holloran S. J. from St. Marys kansas gave the conferences. We had some good laughs too. November 17-18. The frosh were good sports though. . . . And the party at Dreilings that was fun. You should have seen the girls play football. Were we sore the next day. . . . This was the night of St. Xavier's celebration. King Ryan and Queen McGuire were crowned at the Sock Hop. .... And this was the group that went to St. Louis to the convention of youth. The rest of us stayed home and wished we were going. They reported an interesting round of activities. Brother Lester talks with a group of sophomores. We enjoyed Brother McCarthy too.
