LANGUAGE Since languages are the most em- phasized subjects here at St Xavier, the language department is the largest and most important one in the school. A student may study anything from modern Spanish, taught by Fr. Shu- man, or French, Mr. Thonfs speeialty, to Latin, taught by Messrs.
