.QL 15, Rev. Anthony I. Krippner, SJ. The students, friends, and faculty mourned the sudden death of Father Krippner on August 12, 1952. The students knew him mostly for the genuine kindness and the personal interest he had in every one he came in contact with. During his four short years at St. Xavier he accomplished the herculean task of organizing and keeping together the alumni of St. Xavier which numbers over four thousand members. With this job came the duties of publishing a monthly bulletin, holding an annual Communion breakfast, sponsoring the annual Christmas dance, and holding a yearly picnic and class reunion. The students who knew Father Krippner well will long remember him for his devotedness to his work and to the school.
