Rev. William F. Fay, SJ. Principal Assistant principal and moderator of athletics are the two all-important positions held hy Father Berdan. Through his office pass a million ah- sentee notes, admission slips, noon passes, jug assignments, athletic pass- es and special game tickets. These countless items all demand immediate attention, and Father Berdan quietly but efficiently handles each in its turn, Contrihuting to the complex hut smooth operation of the school. A great part of the efficiency with which a school is run depends upon the principal. Certainly Father Fay has never fallen hehind in his year- round task of directing the activities of the faculty and the students into one unified pattern. NVhether hehind the maze of papers and sched- ules on his desk or in a conference with one of the students, Father Fay always remains the calm. business-like administrator.
