Schmidt, S.J., graduate ot the class of 1929 and former staff member of the X-RAY, returned to St, Xavier as president ot the school, We are happy to welcome Fr. Schmidt, and we have enioyed our year with him. We sincerely hope he will have a lang and pleasant stay at St. Xavier. Shortly after this picture, Fr. Lochbiler, S.J., atter more than seven years as president ot St. Xavier, departed for his new post at the University of Detroit. l 6
