Meanwhile, at a secret meeting in Poland, nine European countries revived the Com- munist lnternational. The newly formed Cominform pledged to fight American Imperialism. In downtown Cincinnati, a hundred and fifty of us filled out registration applications, slowly battling with last name first bIanks. Our arms loaded with new books, we thought only of the new life we were entering. World affairs didn't concern us os they: now do.
