The Theme . . . Our men are prepared to go overseas to fight tor God and tor country, tor the ideals ot Truth and Justice. Before they go they are trained hy the military. But even hetore they became soldiers, they had received an education in the schools. Naturally, the hetter the physical, intellectual, and moral training they received hetore they joined the Armed Forces, the better defenders ot their country's ideals did they hecome. The educational program ot St. Xavier High School is not aimed at producing soldiers. Yet, it does train all, and especially the spiritual facul- ties ot its young men. It tends to mold youth who are ready and tit to talce their places as leaders in the struggle against the evils ot the day.
