We enjoyed a good season of inrramural sporfs. Bill Gieang was +he baseball cap+ain. Our baseball Jrealm +hough no+ finishing on 1he Jrop of +he league made a good showing and afforded a wealth of enjoymenl and rec- rea+ion +0 all parficipafing. Our baskelball leam, under coecapfains Jim Hulh and Ed Hogan fared quire a bif belfer. for we won Jrhe championship of fhe Junior division of the noon league. We also had a goodly number of repre- senfalives on school reams. Five of our boys. Bill S+ou+berg. Joe Sweeneyl Jim Clark. Jack Burdick, and Fred Feldman were on +he re- serve foorball ream. Ecl BishOp and Bill Schrimpf were our Jrraclrmerl. The boys of 2AA are nor only a+hlefic minded. buf sludious as well Six Of +hem received lirsl' honors and some half dozen ofhers received second honors. Class honors were held by Bill Dierker. Three of +he seven boys in Jrhe sophomore elocullon confesf were lrom our class. Two ol +hem. Bill Dierker and Jim Doran lied for second place. They will receive medals as prizes in June.
