Since the future belongs to those who prepare for it. every effort is made at St. X to teach us how to face the future confidently. Confidence is possible only when we are equipped mentally in the basic skills, mathema- tical and literary, and in the useful habits of cooperation, punc- tuality, initiative and industry. Hence. there is a methodie pur- pose in what we frequently take to be sheer IIl21fl11PSS, all with the View to developing the whole man IN THE SHADOW OF THE CROSS. 1 fu I - I i 1 , I .xxx Q L 1 in W .
