ATHE ATIC J. Gerard gives an explanation of a difficult trigonometry problem to D. Stewart, J. Bobinski, I. Fleming, E. Nieder- berger, S. Zelder, N. Bronner, and C. Devlin. L. Schuetz and W. Beerman construct a chord in general math class, while R. Gitzen, J. Los, B. Simmons, and B. Fink eagerly look on. A thorough knowledge of fractions is integral to a course in algebra I.
