'CIS' un Dedica tion The Senior Class of 7957 is happy to have this opportunity to show their appreciation to a splendid group of people who hold in trust the noble ideals for the education of youth. That these people have tried to further the development of the young men and young women of S.W.H.S. is evidenced by their self-sacri- fice, thought, zeal, care, and expenditure of their talents and their energies. To the devoted members of the lay faculty who have done so much to make us good citizens, we dedicate the l957 Foslin. SM After a successful fund-raising campaign, James Zeyen, Mary Alice Abawd, Betty Lou Shock, Wile liam Huber, Jean Ann Podach, Lawrence Scharf, seniors, check other annuals for ideas. As l answered the call of my supersonic To search in my files line by line phone, For the whereabouts of the S.W.H. class of The voice of my secretary in a lovely drone-- '57, Informed me that today was the appointed Their silver anniversary dinner was today, at time- eleven. No hurry, for with the aid of my secretaries and my trans-world T V phone, I shall be able to contact all the people listed in file l957 in a matter of fifteen minutes. By remote control the files appeared on my desk and flipped open to the name of Lawrence, Cardinal Archbishop Scharf, whose See is in Fostoria. Courtesy requires a personal call to the Cardinal and the President of the United States, John J. Kirian, vice-president, Dorothy Bugner, Secretary of Education, Juletta Holman. My robot secretaries will inform the others. According to the files here on my desk, Thomas R. Martin is chief-of-staff of the John Kirian hospital located in Fostoria, while Alice Ziegman is head of the nursing school of that in- stitution. Ronald Tuttle, head coach of Hunter College lnamed for the famous Rev. D. S. Hunter, former principal of St. Wendelin High Schooll has a team that has been unbeaten and unscored on for five years. A private school that admits only the elite of the city is owned by Helen Flores. Betty Lou Shock serves as her dean of women, while Eusebio Guzman fills the same position for the men of the college. The mayor of Fostoria, Philip Degens, has appointed Gerald LaFontain, poet laureate. Mr. LaFontain is writing an ode for the anniversary dinner. Pl Ylli5 COIGHWIM editor of The Review-Times, which has become the out-standing literary publication of the world, James Kitchen, T V Toast of Fostoria, Ruth Ann Nye, president of the Fostoria Baseball Association, and John Vance, owner of La Maison de Fumee, are re- nowned citizens of the metropolis. It was a thrill for architect Carolyn Reinhart when her plans for the wonder-ship Neptune were accepted. The owner, William Huber, states that the vessel is capable of making l2OO miles an hour under favorable weather conditions. The interior decor of the ship was done by Anita Malagan. James Zeyen, head of the Solar Research Laboratories, designed the solar engine. Judy Woessner is the gracious hostess on the luxury liner. The Metropolitan Opera Company is currently starring the greatest soprano of all time, Janet Pahl. Her costumes are created by Karen Weimerskirch, her hair is styled by Mary Jo Torres, who commutes from Paris daily. MdI'Sl1i0 Hllfli is G COFITSITIPOFOFY Gl'llSfWl'10 has astounded the world with her depth of feel- ing. ln music, Mary Alice Abowd is recognized as the world's best concerto artist. Mary Ann Ballreich directs a ballet. Carolyn Duding is her Chief instructor, America's leading authority on etiquette is Mary Lou Reinhart. Joseph Pocs and Rosemary Arend are her field workers. Julie Snyder has established a dental clinic on Fifth Avenue. Her chief technician is Sandra Brown. Three doors down, Mary Ann McCarty has a thriving veterinary hospital. Her best client is Harold Brickner whose large ranch with lO0,000 head of prize cattle needs constant attention. Employed on the Brickner estate are Patricia Bulkowski, conservation scientist, and Robert Hag- enmaier, geologist. Bumper and unique crops have been developed as the result of Bob's research. America's answer to Shakespeare's genius has at long last been made in the writing of Jean Ann Podach, who may even surpass the Bard of Avon as she has reached his peak of accom- plishment at an earlier age. Donald Boff, president of Amalgamated Aluminum, furnishes the materials for James Faber's hot-rod factory. James in turn issues parts for Richard Curry's i982 models, produced in Detroit, which are the wonder of the world. William Burns, Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, is at present inspecting troops in Africa. Brenda Boulboulle, ambassador to Egypt, has as house guest, Martha Jane Finsel, mis- sionary, and Kathleen Haubert who supervises the Egyptian Air Lines. A flicker from the atomic eye on my desk tells me that all members of the class of '57 are ready to leave for the anniversary dinner and that Dale Rumschlag, who operates a Rent-a- Copter service will meet all members of the class at the various terminals and will take them to the '57 Club where they will be welcomed by Jane Bugner, owner. Each guest will be presented with a unique arrangement of either a corsage or boutonniere from the gardens of the famous horticulturist, Virginia Frias. by William Huber, Jean Ann Podach, Lawrence Scharf Class Officers James Ritzler, Treasurer Gerald Lonsway, President Shirley Williams, Secretary Marilyn Blaser, Vice-President David Banks Marilyn Blaser Susan Brickner Linda Cervantes John Curry Joyce Elchert A William Faber -- Joan Foristell .
