Dedication Twenty-five years ago this lune, St. Wendelin High held its first graduation from the new school building on Countyline Street. The Reverend Robert V. O'Connor, prin- cipal, had planned and supervised the completion of the new building. His far- reaching foresight is evident as the parish now contemplates the necessity of adding a new wing to the building. Now, as a commemoration of the first twenty-five years in this building and es- pecially in honor of Father O'Connor, we, the Class of 1956, humbly dedicate this vol- ume of the Foslin. Father O'Connor was principal at SWH for ten years-from 1926 to 1936. His untimely death, April 4, 1953, ended 30 years of priestly service in schools and parishes of the diocese. The staff would like to pay tribute also to the class of 1931, the first class to graduate from this high school.
