Bill l-luber, Drum Major An added attraction to our band this year was the introduction of these grade school majorettes, Bonnie EI- chert, Barbara Boes, Diane Wiktor- ski, Carol Elchert, Kathleen Thom- as, Kathy Weingates, Carol l-loover, Sharon Dillery, Sharon Mosier, luneanna Rhinehart, Paula Styer, Karen Wellstein, Carol Welly, Rose Kitchen. Leading the SWHS Band through the l955 football sea son are these four majorettes, Karen Weimerskirch, Phyl lis Coleman, Dorothy Bugner, and lane Bugner, Traveling became a common occurrence this season for the St. Wendelin band. They not only performed at the home half-time shows, and marched in home town parades, but also, as something new this year, they demonstrated their ability before all of the out-of-town foot- ball spectators.
