Although the Mohawks scored only three times and the game was close, the Mohawks were never in too much trouble, for they seemed to be able to pick up the necessary yardage when it was needed. North Baltimore The Mohawks expected an easy win at North Baltimore. The game started as expected with the Saints scoring on the second play from scrimmage, taking the lead 7-O. Then North Baltimore stiffened up and with only four minutes left in the game the Mohawks found themselves with a skimpy 7-6 lead. The Saints had what it takes in the pinches, and seemed to move with ease to score the game-winning touchdown.
