0 R PASTOR With the guidance and help of our Pastor, Father King, we the student body of St. Vincent's have gained the strength to seek the true desires which life has to offer. He has done so much for the students that words cannot express their appreciation toward him. Through his kind- ness and efforts, he has shown us. the students of St. Vincent's. how to become great leaders in this big world he also has proven to us that he is a competent advisor and a true friend. OUR BISHOP Admiringly we look to our beloved Bishops, Jerome D. Hannon and Henry T. Klonowski, who have so selflessly labored for us, the least of their flock, that we may share in all the benefits of a Catholic education. They, fol- lowing in the footsteps of the Good Shephard, unceasingly labor in order that we may more fully understand our duties and obligations to our God, our Country and our fellow man. For this great service to us, we wish to ex- press our wholehearted appreciation.

and patience, without ever recoiling before weariness or difficulties. They work above all, with purity of intention, having always the education and problems of youth before their eyes. Certainly they will not have much lost time, wasted talents, omitted good, of vain complacency in success to account for to God. For all their time is spent helping us become what they are, perfect models of Joseph. All for Jesus, all for Mary, all after their example, O Joseph the Worker. They appear in many different shapes and forms but chief among them are our priests. Spiritual advisors who instill in us the same zeal and love which Joseph instilled in his Son. It is our superintendent Msgr. John J. Maher, and his assistant, Father Wm. Donovan, who through their wisdom and counsel have given us so much in our Catholic education. It is our moderator Father Edward Gallagher who creates in us a spirit of doing all for Christ. But we must not forget a man, whose absence has left a wound in our hearts.
