Everyone knows it is almost impossible to attend SVA a whole year and not visit Mrs. Franklin’s office. Her doors are always open before or after school, at lunch, at break, or anytime in between, if anyone needs counsell¬ ing or just a friend to talk to. She helps seniors with college preparation, juniors with standardized tests, and any one with a problem: academic or emotional. She spends most of her summer planning and preparing the up¬ coming school year. Even in later years she takes a great interest in the students’ progress welfare. Therefore, the staff dedicates the 1987 Vincentian to Mrs. Franklin.

Yearbook Staff Qualifications to be a yearbook staff member are a year of yearbook class, obtaining the required amount of Ads, and last but not least, the dedication and perseverance needed to report on Saturday mornings to produce each year’s “masterpiece.” The yearbook staff proudly presents the 1986-1987 edition of the Vincentian.
