The highlights of the year were Field Day, intramurals, a service drive for the Women ' s Resource Center, student Council Week, an exchange day with Jesuit, and our very first Book Fair. Our assemblies this year were both original and exciting. The most stimulating assembly was the presentation of the National Aeronautics and Space Agency. The favorite cultural assemblies were the performances of the 8th Air Force Band and Ballet Lyrique and a theatre visit from the Shreveport Regional Arts Council. Student Council extends many thanks to both the students and the faculty for their cooperation and support. Theresa Bloomfield N. Clearkin, T. Bloomfield, K. Butcher, D. Sardisco, R. Jones G. From August until February, heat, cold, rain, or sleet did not separate them. (Of course all holidays were observed.) This year, all members of the staff shared in producing all sections, rather than have a few devote themselves exclusively to each of them. The cooperation and unity displayed by the group made the task of publishing this book a pleasant and rewarding one. The staff included Jennie White, Amy Robertson, Amy Oakes, Julia Giddens, Mary Ann Cecola, Caroline Picard, Nancy Clearkin, Susanne N ;ot, Karen Payne, Pam Payne. Stephanie Womack. Virginia Guth, Christina Belcher, and Kathryn Butcher.
