Text from Pages 1 - 240 of the 1981 volume:

We, the staff of the 1981 Vincentian, take pride in dedicating this year’s year¬ book to our advisor, Sister Mary Rita Zagst. She has served as prinipal, newspaper and yearbook sponsor, teacher, and head of the Math Department. Through her hard work, continuous effort, and understanding ways. Sister Rita has become one of St. Vincent’s most valuable assets. r Go-Getters of 1981 Through hard work, enthusiasm and school pride nineteen students earned the distinction of being the 1981 Go- Getters. With much dedication these girls sold $200 or more of yearbook advertisements to make the 1981 Vincentian possible. The Go-Getters are Pam Allen, Lisa Badzik, Susan Brocato, Lynn Carpenter, Nancy Clearkin, Mary Elford, Julie Escude, Rosemary Fiorentino, Ann Katzenstein, Laura Mailhes, Malissa Man- dina, Debbie Maniscalco, Elizabeth Moore, Amy Oakes, Caroline Picard, Kellye Smith, Jenny White, Anne Wilson. Special recognition goes to the four-year Go-Getter Ann Katzenstein (top left); and the top Go-Getter Nancy Clearkin (top right). All life like a fabric is woven And textured by things that we do; Our dreams and our duties make patterns Each day we start weaving anew. Judicious and careful in planning , Let us weave the pattern just right: Weave duties and dreams in a pattern To give beauty and strength to the soul.
