AwieeitA Lsieadond: 172-73 This book, Vincentian 1973, contains the memories of a year at St. Vincent’s Academy. The story it tells concerns the people and activities which make this year one to remember. Academic activities include a busy schedule of classes, tests, and homework. Each person strives to reach her goal and feels the joy of success. Sometime during the year each girl experiences failure or defeat. But these experiences build character and provide strength. Disappointments and joys are shared by friends — those who care and are willing to listen. Involvement in extra-curricular activities and sports shows the spirit of the school. It reveals the unity of all the individuals combined as one body. The activities of all these individuals at St. Vincent’s are a part of each student’s search for her purpose in life. They are what make 1972-73 a special year. The 1972-73 Vincential staff would like to thank the girls that make up the 1972-73 Go-Getters. These girls brought in at least $150 worth of yearbook ads. To them we owe deep gratitude. They are: top row, left to right; Mary Margaret Logan, Robin Spencer, Shelly Picard, and Vicki Stuart. Middle row; Alma Pineda and Barbara Murov. Bottom row; Charlene Hawkins, Debbie Dykes and Cindy Milazzo. 9 fmo Hfi 9 'w”Wb find a quiet ptaM 9m j- Mi 1fil (wrnn fidtl 9 10 11 S OM tfw Sm is just Ou blujftt spot in nujftt tim. y{nji ojj tmtfl meml)eHng. 15 Administration 17 Ones Who Guide, Love, and Direct Mother John Roberta Mother Superior Sr. Rita Principal Religion I 18 Left: Sr. Rita. although she is principal, has more than just administrative duties. Trying to do the best thing for every- one, the Student Council acts as a bridge between the fac- ulty and the student body. Its members do their best to make St. Vincent’s the great- est school that it can be; they sponsor almost every school activity and program. All was not great with smiles of joy and happiness, but the year served as an experience of growth and love. We must set our sights high and never look low; but as the future becomes today, this book will serve as an aide in remembering a year of the past. 221 222 Photographer.............
