Text from Pages 1 - 200 of the 1970 volume:

If I could catch and hold the way I feel . . . this throbbing bursting pulse of life they call my youth . . . perhaps I might begin to understand that which puzzles me most . . . myself. 4 I seek that kind of learning that will topple me off my shelf and turn the pages of my mind . . . 6 7 8 Yet in this happy confu- sion of wall-to-wall girls, I see glimpses of myself in those around me . . . 9 I reach out my hand and offer love . . . 10 I search ... I learn ... I live . . . yet the beat goes on. ii 12 A Principal . . . Yet a Friend . . . For almost three years. Sister Patricia has been the principal of Saint Vincent’s Acad- emy. During this time she has become more than just the chief administrator of our school. In addition to keeping the school running in a smooth and orderly manner, Sister Patricia has become a friend to all. Being a kind and understanding person, she respects the rights of every individual and tries to be of service to everyone. In the hearts of both students and faculty mem- bers, she holds a very special place. Sister Patricia is a principal, yet a friend. 14 Shakespeare . . . Chaucer . . . Who, Whom . . .
