D E D I C A T I 0 N “A smile is a favor a friend bestows to lift you and make you glad.” This is certainly true of Sister Lau- rentia. Serving as administrator of the bursar’s office, heading the business department, and sponsoring So¬ dality, Sister proves conclusively each day to be a competent and helpful faculty member. Her sincere interest in the students and her unfad¬ ing sense of humor has merited for her our respect and admiration. For these, we the staff of the 1963 Vincentian, deem it fitting and proper to dedicate this Vincentian to one of St. Vincent’s most outstanding teachers—Sister Mary Laurentia. 7
