This program enabled students to devote their free time to the study of classical and modern music. Also included in the courses offered by the department are freshman and senior chorus and an instrumental program for the hand and oreliestra. An equally effective aid in the devel' opment of the ability to express ideas was speech class, taught by Sr. Chris. tine.
