Shy newcomers anticipate the first social fling No surviving freshman can describe to you the same ex- perience in his first encount- ers at St. V. While one buys an elevator pass from a scheming senior, another is rushing into the wrong room or learning that he doesn't stand up to recite in class. People are new and strange, but school plans supply excit- ing activities to overcome all Freshman .litters. Dances and various athletic events provide many opportunities for making memories.
