From left: Karen Karper, Kathleen Ryan, Donna Kelly, Donna Bertolini, and Alice Polsinelli. All five girls presented book reviews to encourage good reading. St. Vincent students devote the first 42- minute period of the day to religion class. Here they analyze their Catholic Faith with the same concentration as the rest of their academic curriculum. The theo- logical virtues of faith, hope, and charity, the cardinal moral virtues of prudence, justice, fortitude and temperance come under close investigation. Lectures and movies supplement class Work by present- ing a more practical View of Catholocism. Catholic action finds tangible expres- sion in the observance of Catholic Book Week and the students' Universe Bulletin campaign, which promote the spread of the Catholic Press through student effort.
