Anne Hughes, current singer oi the hiues, has just arrived and is taiicing over her recent engagements with another popuiar song-hird, Frances McManus. Joan Vvaiifer, now residing in Sunnyside, is the mother of two darting children and has recently heen eiected president ot the P.T.A. in her district. Lois Schencif can he seen in the Municipal Court taicing steno notes at the rate ot 140 words per minute. Regina Purce, stiii possessing that wonderful compiexion which made her a popuiar idol with ati Pondys users, has made her entry. Pat Nolan is a successful secretary to Mr. Gee Lowe, an executive with the Boy Scouts of America. Doris Noweii, as pretty as ever, recently an- nounced her engagement to a prominent Captain connected with Fort Schuyler. The adjacent Hoiy Name Buiiding is proud oi its modern improvements, made possihie hy the ingenuity and aggressiveness ot Mary Purteii. Peggy 0,Fiynn is quite overjoyed at the thought ot her iittie Jimmy getting his Hist tooth. Vveii, iooic who just waiiced int Helene iVicQueeney herseit. Mmmm i-fiooic at that handsome Irishman she,s with. tpat or Percy?j Peggy Mcinerney is on the entertainment committee. Peggy has reaiiy gone piaces with that spariqiing personality and ready wit of hers. it you were a guest at the Ambassador Hotei and asked tor the puhiic stenographer, petite Ann Kenny would he at your service. Gertrude Vvaish, tate as usual, is teiiing everyone how she and Helen Harte have recentiy been made superintendents oi the Horn and Hardart Company. As Father Time ticks on, we hecome aware ot the tact that our gay reunion must come to an end. it is with a tear and a sigh that once again we have to part, each on a distinct and separate path down the road of iiie. The gathering certainty proved to he a sociai success, and everyone agrees that another get-together in the near future is a Hmustu tor the giris oi June 1948. Rose Gilchrist and Mae Flanagan arrived early this morning from the Catslcills, where they operate a tourist camp. Petite and lovely, Gloria Gardner. has every moment ot her time occupied by Donnie and Gloria, her year-old twins. A popular comedienne ot the day is our own Ann Doherty. Margie Carroll has arrived and is telling all about her new home in Pelham Manor. Co-worlcers in the field ot advertising are June Clark and Mary Ferguson . Who else could it be at the piano tilting the room with the strains of ulVlother Nlalonen but Eileen McManus? Eileen is currently being starred at Q'Donnell's Night Club as one ot its special attractions. Qur own Clare Meehan, a Woodbury Deb, has become Mrs. and is now residing in Flushing. Gloria Lacey is telling everyone about her wonderful husband-a certain ex-Hayes man. Some out-ot-towners have just arrived. Barbara Tomaszewslca and her husband, Jaclc, who own a spacious home in Connecticut: Dot McCarthy who was a smashing success in her last play. Dot didnyt let her career interfere with her family. She and her husband own a beautiful home in Beacon Hill and are the proud parents ot three children. Guess what happened to Rosemary Nicholson? Thatys right. Shes now model- ing hats: she didnyt get that natural curly hair and those long eye lashes tor nothing .... This is only part-time. Vvhy? Shets busy with her twins. Audrey Mullen came in beaming with the news ot her husbands promo- tion to First Grade Detective. Katie McConnell couldnit come tonight. She left from LaGuardia Airport tor a trip baclc to good old Erin. She hasnyt lost that brogue ot hers yet. Kay Ronaghan, Terry Grcenan, and Mary Lynch have just arrived. We hear Terry is going to Hlvlarch down the aisle this June in Satin and Tullen. Although Mary and Kay are both married they are excited over the thought ot being her bridesmaids. Qur cute little red-headed Kay Mulligan is now busy raising three red-heads ot her own. Helen Quinn, in her generosity, has opened a beauty salon. Now every girl can have that Wonderful up-sweep that is only Helens Many students have received valuable points from our former classmate. Ann Lee, who has been touring the country as a shorthand expert. Frances Rennig has just told us how well her nursery is coming along. As we all lcnow, Fran started out with two small customers and today has over one hundred under her charge. Mary Glynn, a prominent dietition, is a popular guest at our reunion party. HHOW to eat and yet lceep slimn is a line in which Mary excels. The students ot Mount St. Vincent College hold in high esteem the friendship and guidance ot one ot their teachers-Mary Maggio. Mary Tully, recently appointed Super- intendent ot night nurses, is a faithful stalt member ot New Yorlc Hospital.
