Dwyer was a mem- ber of the Universitys Eng- lish Department before he assumed his new position. He replaces Rev. George A Kmieck SJ who left the University to fill a position at John Carroll University. ln addition to Fr Dwyers ap- pointment Rev Gilbert Stem, S.J., took over the duties of Assistant Dean of the Arts College Formerly Fr. Stein was the Principal of the Uni- versity of Detroit High School. Rev. J. B.
