Members have aithfully donated their Saturdays and Sundays to speech work, not to mention time both during and after school. Speech can be divided into four main categories. The first is studied speeches, which includes oratorical declamation, humorous, and drama. Second is the original speeches - both oratorical and extemporaneous speaking. Next is the Student Congress, which is modeled after the law-making body of our own government. Last, but far from least, is debate, which promotes interest in current prob- lems. This year's topic is Resolved that the Federal Government should support Major Agricultural Products at not less than 90 per cent of Parity.
