In their unending quest to help us, the students, the school administration provides us with a driver training class. This is a means of increasing our safety on the highway. Through classroom work and actual driving, we are taught not merely the basics for passing the state test, but also the essential aids in highway and city driving. DRIVER TRAINING

BAD The band season opened with the start of the football games during which the band marched and played through all of the games. In December we switched tempo for the Christmas Show. Again in March we changed back to our uniforms for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Finally the sea- son closed in May with our Music Festival, a lively por- trayal of classical, popular, and Broadway music. Mr. Mayer and Fr. Mallagan have taken on the responsibility of this year-round organization. They have revived its spirit and attracted the interest of the student body. Future plans include the formation of a Dance Band, new band uniforms and a permanent Mothers' Association. Here Mr. Del1'ossa instructs members of the band.
