HIILY BIBLE MAWH HE TREMENDOUS pride that many peo- ple express in speaking of the Holy Bible as the all-time best-seller always amuses me. The Bible is the foundation of our spiritual life, and should be considered as com- monplace as is our food and clothing. Of course it should be-the best seller! I don't mean to THE CHELSEA REVIEW . be disrespectful about it. But it does amuse me. Not that it is funny. Let us say rather -- that it is odd. One doesn't talk about bread selling better than cake.
