MIDDLE SCHOOL Some Middle Schoolers quibble over the bookstore’s base price list. Sister Mary Middlcschool. SIR! The Middle School, entering into its second year of existence, has become a firmly-established segment of the St. Thomas community. The seventh and eighth graders provide a seasoning of freshmen who know the ropes” each year and can assist their often befuddled new classmates, which alone would justify the Middle School's existence. The Middle Schoolers are receiving one of the best junior high educations in the area from an excellent, well-qualified staff. In addition, the rela- tively small si .c of classes allows each student to participate in all factors of school life, from their own school government (totally independent of the high school student council) to the doughnut sales so eagerly anticipated by the remainder of the student body. There is every probability that the Middle Schoolers will continue to demonstrate the qualities that have made them an asset to the Academy, both now and for the rest of the time they spend at St. Thomas. roiseo lor action.'
