VARSITY FOOTBALL The St. Thomas High School varsity football team, coached by Mr. George Slafkosky and Mr. William Todd, ended their season with a record of four victories and five defeats. The team played wide- open ball. It displayed a superb passing attack with Joe Fenelon pitching. Out- standing linemen were Pete Colloton and Dick Muraski. Bill Hills and Pat Sreenan provided many a thrill and treat with their broken field running. Among the returning lettermen are Pat Sreenan, Billy Hills, Paul Bennick, Dick Muraski, Tom O,Meara, Ronnie Ruel, and Dave Barton. In spite of this array of returning talent Coach Slafkosky must find capable replacements for men like Joe Fenelon, Pete Colloton, jack Heaslip, Jim Lichtfuss, Bill Kelly, Dick Smith, Franny Metzger, Pat Dulin, Jack En- right, Joe Bowen, Jim Hayes, and Bob White.
