Four years can be o very long rime and a very short rime — simultaneously. As Freshmen rhe Class of 1982 peered inro rhe future ond graduation — that Lost Year — seemed so for away. Yet, now os Seniors, September of 78 was just like yesterday. A flood of memories crowds in among rhe days and it's only in looking bock that we con recoil rhe changes that hove token place in these four years. People changes are ore most obvious — so many faces that hove come ond gone in o high school lifetime: classmates, teachers, administrators... rhe story of life is change. For rhose who stayed, there were changes also. Some grew roller, larger, stronger, bolder,- ond some grew inrellecrually, spiritually, gracefully. No one stayed rhe some Even buildings changed in rhose four years — most of them disappeared. The Class of 82 was rhe lost class to run o block ond o half in oil Isinds of weather for music and art closses — rhe Tri-boro building is now memory The segments of our lives ore oil little memories of people, places, ond events. Four years has brought rhe Class of '82 to rhe end of high school memory-making and to rhe brink of new adventures, new faces, new concepts. Moy each graduate meet rhose challenges with rhe srrenrh ond faith ond growth that was gained or Sr. Thomas since September of 78. 2
