m QWDWDB I® Each year, the TORCH OF HONOR is awarded to the Senior boy and girl who have demonstrated outstanding Christian witness, leadership, and scholarship throughout their high school career. Selection is determined by faculty vote. This year, the students chosen to receive the award are MARLENE FABYANIC and R.J. PEKOR. In her four years at St. Thomas, Marlene has been actively involved in various clubs and organizations such as Upstart, National Honor Society, and Math and Science Clubs. This year she was RETROSPECT editor, and was also chosen to receive the BAUSCH AND LOMB AWARD lor excellence in science. R.J., too, has been a familiar figure in extracurricular activities. A T.I.P. captain and president of National Honor Society, he is also student director of the Senior play, CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN. Congratulations to both for meriting this high honor. 22
