WSADMASTER OP CT THOMAS REVEREND LEO HENRV ADDRESS TO STUDENTS: Religious Educators are a special breed. They are charged, in addition to the teaching of the three R's, with the obligation of imparting religious doctrines and instilling Christian convictions - personal commitments to follow Jesus Christ - in an age when all else is aimed toward material goods. It is a terrifying responsibility, but one that we relish and whole-heartedly embrace. It has been a wonderful experience to serve the Class of 1963. Though our relationship was a relatively brief one, I feel a special friendship toward the senior class of my first year at Saint Thomas District High School. My prayer for the graduates will be that you are a different person because of your years at Saint Thomas. That your faith has matured, your charity bears fruit, and the wisdom imparted through prayer, study and action here will serve God's glory from now until eternity. Then the sacrifice of ours, your parents, and the many good people who made our school possible will be fully compensated. 7
