“Ok at d) may Lear tLe voice of -Jhy praise and ted of ad dJLy wondrous works. Ps. 25 .. 7 The Voice of God has been transmitted to all men - sometimes as a mere whispering, sometimes through revelation, or then again through the prophets of the Old Law. No matter in what form the Will Of God has reached us, men of every age have given praise to the Voice in their humble way. It was at the appearance of the star that the Voice of God echoed forth from the lowly cave in the Person of Jesus Christ. The Divine Word undertook the mission of imparting God's Will to all. He labored among the faithful, instructing them, inviting them to Christianity. His very life was offered on the Cross as a sacrifice for the salvation of men. His sufferings were of infinite value meriting for the world graces without number and without measure. Through the centuries that followed, Christ’s institution - the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church - became Cod’s mouthpiece. The successors of Christ and His Apostles, obeying God’s command to teach all nations, proclaimed the Gospel to all parts of the earth. Our parents, as recipients of the true Faith, saw to it that the Voice was instilled in our souls. Through their loving care and sacrifice, they enabled us to attend a Catholic school where we reaped the benefits of a Catholic education. Here, our knowledge of God’s attributes, precepts, and mysteries was further developed. Our Faith was further enriched and our Christian principles were strengthened. It is then with grateful and sincere hearts that we dedicate the Thomason-ian of 1958 to our beloved parents who have made it possible for us to receive the gift of Faith. In the following pages of this yearbook, we shall endeavor to display the gifts of Cod implanted in us during these formative years. Now, as we are preparing to leave school and step into the future, we shall once more as a class unite in thanking God for the blessings bestowed upon us, raising our voices in praise of all His wondrous works.
