Geator Sp C( s DeeUc itco t Realizing that after graduation, we, the Class of 1950, must face the fact that we can no longer claim intimate membership in the student body of St. Thomas, that we must thereafter tread these revered halls as a part of that great body of grown-ups known as outsiders makes goodbye a word most difficult to say- St. Thomas, however, has taught us not only courage and strength in meeting unpleasant tasks, but also has instilled in our hearts a great love for all that i? good and right. This love is an imbodimcnt of the freindships we have made, the truths we have learned, and the ideals we have fought for. Behind this limelight, our confidence and pride, there is someone who has traveled with us through our years at St. Thomas, who has inspired us to fight for our ideals, and set ablaze the flame of truth enkindled in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. She is the one who has unselfishly shared her gifts of wisdom and understanding with each one of us in every joy and every disappointment. Under her vigilant care graduation means to us not an end, but a beginning of the fulfillment of all those noble aims which have been fostered in us. This “someone,” who means much to all of us, is none other than our esteemed principal, Sister M. Eunice, O.P., to whom the Senior Class of 1950 lovingly dedicates its Yearbook. cJ
