'RUN FOR FUN -AND FAME Amid flashingspikes, knees, and elbows the St. Thomas C.C. Team finished another successful season this year losing only one league imeet, only the second . loss in four years. This, combined with an exquisite trophy from the Albion Col- lege Invitational and a third place at the Regionals made for high team and coach- ing satisfaction. Under the absolutism of Coach Taimo Leps the team proved daily they were no milksops by embarking onjaunts of up to 14 miles at a time which rapidly put the team in running shape. The Co-Captains elect for the 71-V72 season, Bill Wadke and Kevin McMahon promise to maintain the Irish pridet and dominance in the . We can't hold our copy for pictures of those championship games Cfunny about those publishers insisting about meeting deadlinesj, so, in advance-congratulations! Either way the sandlot crew deserve a lot of credit.
