POTS AND PANS Where is a better place to express yourself than in art class? Students learn the essentials of the craft such as brush strokes, and color combinations and how to work with water colors as well as oil paints. Sculpturing is also popular in the course. This year we've seen new outfits galore that came out of clothing class. Sewing machines, pattern books, pins, needles, thread, patterns, and colorful material could be seen around Room 200 during class time. Out of the confusion was witnessed all these being trans- formed into new skirts, jumpers, ponchos, etc. As for foods class-the large number of people in it learned almost everything possible about the subject at hand -foods! Important facts such as vitamin value, and cal- orie content of different edibles were brought out. But the grande finale took place when the cooking began. Throughout the days people's noses were in the air trying to decipher the different smells-there was choc- olate chip cookies, brownies, cherry pie. . . Thank you Mrs. McKenna for educating us in the fine crafts of artistry, sewing and cookery. - .1 tw: A ., xt. , , u t lt 1 ff' P-1 Uv-.wh .YH , Lt 1 at nw ew ,tt tl. t if mst W du wr.
