DRAMATICS CLUB This year a new club has been organized at St. Thomas High. The Dramatics Club--with M. Kurrie as president, C. Hettinger as vice president, D. Ajdowski as secretary and F. Kurrie as treasurer--was formed for teh purpose of encouraging our students to take on interest in dramatics. The officers of this new organization were elected by a majority vote in October. DON'T TAKE MY PENNY! This three act comedy, by Anne Coulter Martens, tells about 16 year old Penny, who is waiting to be discovered for a starring role in a movie version of a popular novel. Unknown to her, a former child star, Sally, has been planted in her home as a maid and is also seeking the role. While awaiting the arrival of the author, who is to choose the star, Sally falls in love with Permy's brother Mark. Be- cause of several hilarious incidents, Penny becomes discouraged so that she no longer wants the part. Finally, a girl is chosen, but the choice is a surprise to all.
