Present at these meetings are Si ste r Mary Creseentia and Sister Mary Noel, the Student Council di r e c to r s, Sudent Council officers, and c 1 a s s- room representatives, Al Ku- jawski, Gilbert Kopski, Tony Adamski, Lorraine Jaworski, Ken Hylenski, Maxine Grzy- bowski, Pat Jarfas, CarolGil- Shirley Puruleski, Al lam, Brandau, and Pat DeMicco. The Student Council of St. Tho mas High was organized three years ago. During this period oftime it has sponsored numerous social and religious activities, entertained guests from various places and most important of all, the Student Council has produced a better relationship between the stu- dents and teachers. This year's officers Al Jablonski, presidentg Larry Van Sullen, vice-president: Blanche Bagin- ski, secretaryg and Bob Deb- rowsky, treasurerg were elected by a majority vote last May. Q81 XL,

STUDENT COUNCIL ACTIVITIES Durmg the past three years the Student Counc1l has successfully s p o n s o r e d many worth wh1le prolects For the year 1955 the Student Counc1l s blggest project was Parent N1ght Parent mght was a meetmg of parents teachers and the students held for the purpose of acqualntmg the parents wlth the functlons of our hlgh school At th1s assembly speeches were made by the pastor and the students The speakers explalned to the parents the sub1ects taught at St Thomas the rules of the school and the orgamzatxons that are present ln the school To raxse money for a worthy cause the Student Counc1l held a raffle Chances to wma beaut1fu1 portable radlo were sold to the students for 109 a p1ece Book covers and school pennants were also sold to the students by the Student Councll At Chrlstmas t1me the Student Councll gave two paxr of s1lk stoclungs to each orphan at the Guardlan Angel Home All the students at St Thomas H1gh recexved a blg candy cane from the Student Councxl Santa R Wyzl1c 'Q- 6
