This is the theme of our school song We have shouted it time and time again on the sports field and the court. Now we stand before the altar of God together for the last time in the victory formation. We stand in memory of those who have gone before us and held dear these words and have given all--even their lives to fulfill them. We stand in hope that we may ever be so brave and courageous in our future. ... as .qi ai.-.5 -. Hours spent here will be remem- bered because it has been as another home to most of us. The beginning of the realization of our dreams, our hopes and our ambition was realized with the knowledge attained in many subjects, spiritual guidance and aid in social activi- ties which will always be treasured. To you Alma Mater we say, Farewell but in our hearts the memory will be retained for many years to come. Lil' p6l1ff0l T n l'V4v'-X ls- Rt. Rev. Msgr. Stanley S. Skrzycki L. L. D. - As we journey down the road of life, stopping momentarily, our minds saunter back to the beginning of the road here at St. Thomas. Only then will we fully realize the debt of gratitude we owe you, Monsignor. The education and training you have made possible here at St. Thomas will help us to reach our destination, eternity. This tribute we pay you now is only a small portion of what we owe, but we pray that Almighty God showers an abundance of his grace always upon you. jrzgufe Nothmg IS more f1tt1ng than that we bequeath th1s book of fond memor1es to those who helped us the most durmg our Journey through the grades towards graduat1on Mom and Dad It 1S to you that we offer th1s Yearbook as our token of our apprec1at1on for all you have done for us and clothmg but also bu11t us up sp1r1tually w1th your un end1ng pat1ence love and understand1ng You sent us to a f1 ne Cathol1c School from Wh1Ch we are very proud to say that we have graduated The least we can do IS to offer th1s our Yearbook of 1953 w1th our love to you dear Mom and Dad O Not only did you give us the essentials of life---food, shelter, --nu? if QQL at-Auf Anthony Grabowski, highest in the ad campaign, offers the Thomasonian to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Grabowski. He as well as the other seniors recall those days spent at St. Thomas under their parents' careful guidance. ur gui ed Rev. Thaddeus Bozenski Zealous and untiring ef- forts on Father Ted's part have earned him the title of awonderful instructor. The juniors have gained a great amount of worthwhile know- ledge because of his meth- od of teaching Church His tory. Stalwart and ada mant in character Mr. Bazylewicz has proved himself a very capable instructor. Rev. Michael Filip Father Filip' s radiant per- sonality has penetrated the hearts of all his senior stu- dents. Through his inspi- ring religious instructions the students have developed morally. His words of wis- dom and encouragement have brought out the best in everyone. 'QQ T15- Mr. Walter Bazylewicz Rev. Raymond Ellis A deep impression has made on the juniors because of Father Ray's devout and pious ways. The History o the Church has been instilled into the students through Father Ellis' ardent and sin- cere instructions. In athletics he has brought out real sportsmanship in all the fellows. He is respected by all as a teacher and a real friend. ur rinciloa I 439' SISTER MARY SYMPHORIA, PRINCIPAL One of the greatest joys of our school years has been the warm and per- sonal friendship of our beloved Principal, Sister Mary Symphoria. Sister has been a virtual storehouse , brimful of goodness, from which we have evoked a steady stream of inspiration, courage, and perseverance. Striving to bring forth only the best in all of us, she has made giving the best pleasant rather than painful. Her gentle, but firm nature, always a shining example, reflects the Way, the Truth, and the Life on which now, we are about to embark. y4IN S1ster M Hum 1l1ana Typmg II Shorthand II Jun1or Bus1ness Trammg Bookkeepmg :qi Sxster M Rosabelle B1ology General Sc1ence Enghsh II WWW jaffllhy bint.
